Steamed cod marinated in lemon served with a peri peri sauce accompanied by Lentil Rice and Spicy Chili Broccoli.  Sunshine on your plate. 
Cod – All-natural delicious treat from the sea.  Simple ingredients keep this delicate fish healthy and bring out the best of the cod filet. Lemon, olive oil, garlic, basil, sea salt, black pepper.  That’s it and that’s enough for a great piece of fish! Cod is an excellent source of vitamin B12, selenium, phosphorus and protein. It is also a very good source of choline as well as a good source of niacin, potassium, vitamin B6, molybdenum, pantothenic acid and omega-3 fatty acids. Keep your brain and your heart healthy by consuming omega-3 fatty acids, Omega-3 fats lower your risk for Alzheimer's disease, high blood pressure and heart disease.
Peri Peri Sauce - Oven-roasted Red and Green Bell Peppers, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Parsley, Seasoning – all natural and delicious. Red bell peppers contain several phytochemicals and carotenoids,  particularly beta-carotene, which lavish your body with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. And the capsaicin in bell peppers reduces ‘bad’ cholesterol, controls diabetes, brings relief from pain and eases inflammation.
Lebanese Lentil Rice - Our healthy and delicious Lebanese rice - a mixture of red lentils, rice and orzo prepared in our homemade vegetable stock. Nutrient rich lentils contain the highest amount of protein originating from any plant. They are a great source of dietary fiber and also have a low amount of calories.  Dietary fiber found food such as lentils helps in controlling blood sugar levels. Dietary fiber slows down the rate at which food is absorbed by the blood and as a result maintains a consistent blood sugar level.
Spicy Chili Broccoli - Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Chili Flakes, Sea Salt – simple all natural and delicious.  Broccoli comes with many health benefits, it is rich in essential vitamins and minerals in addition to fiber and contains sulforophane, a sulfur-containing compound that is thought to have anti-cancer properties.  One cup of broccoli contains as much vitamin C as an orange.

Peri Peri Cod with Lentil Rice

Stove Top: (Preferred Method) Bring a pot of water to a boil. Immerse cod pouch into gently boiling water for about 7 minutes. Add the side dish pouches and boil for an additional 3 minutes. Finally, add the sauce pouch and cook all components for an additional 2 minutes. 

Microwave: Pierce a small hole in pouches for venting. Place cod pouch on a microwave safe dish and heat on high for 1 minute, add the side dish and sauce pouches and heat on high for an additional 1.5 minutes.

In the event your meal is not fully reheated after removal from the pouches, you may continue reheating in a microwave on a microwave safe dish until done - which should be no more than another minute or two. An internal temperature of 158F must be reached. Appliances vary, adjust accordingly.

Please note: For items without sauces or gravy, cut a hole in corner of pouch and drain excess liquid before plating.

Caution: Pouches and contents will be very hot.

Lentil Rice: Vegetable Stock (Water, Onion, Carrot, Celery, Olive Oil), Red Lentils, Orzo Pasta (Water, Semolina (Wheat), Durum Flour, Niacin, Iron (Ferrous Sulfate), Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), White Long Grain Rice (Long Grain Parboiled Rice (Enriched with Iron (Ferrous Phosphate), Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate and Folic Acid), Onion, Parsley, Seasoning, Salt.

Broccoli: Broccoli, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Chili Flakes, Sea Salt.

Steamed Cod: Fish (Cod).
